The newly redeployed Kano State Commissioner for Tourism and Culture Aisha Lawal Saji Rano has assumed office Monday as directed by the state Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Speaking in her office, Aisha Lawan Saji-Rano expressed her determination to workhard for the upliftment of tourism sector and revitalization the good culture of people of Kano state, as enshrined in the government's policies and programs.
To move the state forward culturally, as well as the tourism industry, the Commissioner emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration among the stakeholders, as contained in a press statement issued by Amina Lawan Isah m, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry.
She then solicited fpr the support and cooperation of th entire staff of the Ministry and heads of parastatals under the ministry in order to achieve the set goals.
Saji-Rano finally thanked the Governor for finding her worthy to continue serving under the present administration, pledging to redouble her efforts.
Earlier speaking, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry Kubrah Imam, who led all the staff in receiving the Commissioner, assured her of full support to enable her to deliver her mandates.
In his part, the Managing Director Tourism Board, Alh Tukar Bala Sagagi, who spoke on behalf of his heads of parastatals under the Ministry, commended Governor Yusuf for his laudable policies that will enhance the culture and boost tourism industry in the state.
