The Executive Secretary of Kano State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board (KSSSMB) Rabiu Sale Gwarzo has reaffirmed the state government's unwavering commitment to promoting exceptional educational standards in secondary schools education.
Speaking when he convened the inaugural meeting with the twenty three zonal directors, the Executive Secretary discussed the current status of schools within the state, aimed at assessing the progress, challenges, and future prospects of secondary education in Kano State.
During the meeting, the Executive Secretary and zonal directors engaged in a comprehensive review of the schools' performance, focusing on key areas such as academic achievements, infrastructure development, among other issues that need prompt intervention. The discussion also touched on strategies for improving the overall quality of education in the state.
The ES emphasized the state government's commitment to providing access to quality education for all students, regardless of their background or socio-economic status, adding that the declaration of State of Emergency on education is a critical step towards achieving this goal.
Honorable Rabiu Gwarzo also highlighted some of the notable achievements recorded by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, demonstrating a clear vision for education standards in Kano State, calling for effective utilization of
government education initiatives to achieve the desired outcome.
He noted that the Board is committed
to foster a collaborative environment among staff to build on these achievements and ensure quality education for the development of the state.
