The Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB), Kano State Chapter, has conferred an Award of Excellence in Infrastructure Development on the Provost of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Bichi, Dr. Bashir Sabo Abubakar.
The award was formally presented by the Chairman of the NIOB Kano Chapter, Builder Mas'ud Lado Saleh, on July 3, 2025.
The prestigious recognition acknowledges Dr. Abubakar’s exceptional leadership and dedication to infrastructural transformation within the college. Under his stewardship, the institution has recorded significant advancements in learning facilities, staff welfare infrastructure, and overall campus development—aligning with national standards in technical and vocational education.
