In his continued, unrelenting efforts to revolutionize the health sector, the Executive Secretary of Kano State Hospital Management Board Dr. Mansur Mudi Nagoda has today, Wednesday 5th February, led a powerful Executive Supervision Team to health facilities located in Tofa and Kabo local government areas.
In Tofa Local Government, Dr. Nagoda and his entourage have visited a health facility recently constructed by a member representing Dawakin Tofa, Tofa and Rimin Gado at the House of Representatives, Hon. Tijjani Abdulkadir Jobe.
The visit was a part of preliminary preparations for the official commissioning of the facility. After Tofa, the team then proceeded to the Kabo Local Government health facility.
During the visit, Dr. Nagoda was together with Director General of Kano State Private Health Institutions Management (PHIMA) Prof. Salisu Ibrahim Ahmad, the Executive Secretary of Kano Health Trust Fund (KHETFUND) Dr. Fatima Zahraddeen and the directors of HMB.
The health revolution is yielding a positive result. The Executive Secretary of HMB is calling for proactive collaboration with all other agencies in fulfilling this obligation.
Organized by the HMB, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, the Executive Supervision was officially launched on Monday, the 27th of January, and was designed to cover all facilities under the Board, located both in the metropolis and the rural areas.
The facilities visited so far by the Executive Secretary and other team members include Murtala Muhammad Specialists Hospital, Muhammad Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital, Sir Muhammad Sanusi Specialist Hospital, Sheik Muhammad Jidda General Hospital, and Yadakunya General Hospital.
Others are Waziri Shehu Gidado Hospital, Abubakar Imam Urology Center, Malam Shuaibu Medical Center Tudun-Wada, and Jafar Clinic Dakata, among others.
