The Director-General of Kano State Drugs and Medical Consumables Supply Agency (DMCSA) Pharm. Gali Sule has expressed grief and offered his condolences to the Government and the people of Kano State over the death of two members of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Aminu Sa'ad (Ungogo Constituency) and Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji (Kano Municipal Constituency) who died on Wednesday 24th December 2025.
"I received with profound sorrow the news of the passing of two distinguished members of the Kano State House of Assembly, Hon. Aminu Sa'ad and Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji," Pharm. Gali sule said, as contained in a press statement issued by Farouk Isa Musa, the Public Relations Officer of DMCSA.
He further noted that the deaths of the two lawmakers represent a great loss not only to their families and constituents, but also to the entire legislative institution and the state at large.
According to the Director-General, the late parliamentarians served with dedication, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the development and well-being of the people they represented.
"I, on behalf of the Management and the entire staff of DMCSA, wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to the Kano State Government headed by His Excellency Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Speaker State House of Assembly Rt. Hon.Jibril Isma'il Falgore, the Emir of Kano Malam Muhammad Sanusi II, and the National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) Sen. (Dr.) Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso," the DMCSA chief said.
"I also wish to extend my condolence to the families of the deceased, their colleagues in the House of Assembly, and the entire people of their respective constituencies. At this difficult time, we share in your grief and pray for strength, comfort, and fortitude to bear the loss," he added.
"The people of Ungogo and Kano Municipal Constituencies have recognized and appreciated the invaluable contributions made by the late legislators to democratic governance, lawmaking, and constituency service. Their legacies of public service and commitment to the progress of Kano State will be remembered and cherished."
Pharm. Gali Sule then prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the souls of the deceased lawmakers eternal rest and grant their families and loved ones the courage to endure the irreparable loss.
